L’Espace French Cultural centre in Hanoi is featuring an installation performance featuring the latest works of a Vietnamese artist April 22 -31.
Entitled, “The Tilted Life” by Nguyen Duy Quang, the installation displays pieces made from a variety of materials, everything from concrete and steel to bamboo and ready-made clothes, all enveloped in background music selected especially for the occasion.
The audience is treated to the masterful performance by of pianist Pho An My accompanying Quang’s arrangements. The artist is to play Sonata No 6 for piano, a masterpiece by Russian composer Sergey Sergeyevich Prokofiev (1891-1953)
With the installation Nguyen Duy Quang’s endeavors to bring to light his point of view on social change that leads to the imbalance being felt in so many peoples lives today.
