The Son Ha Fine Art Company of Vietnam and the Information and Culture Service of Vientiane on July 31, opened a gallery exhibiting paintings by Vietnamese artists and a nursery of ornamental plants in Vientiane, Laos.
Present at the opening ceremony were many senior officials of Vientiane, and the Lao Ministry of Information and Culture.
Vientiane Mayor Thoongsing Thammavong praised the positive contribution the Son Ha company has made to design and restore the Kaysone Phomvihane park and other public parks throughout Laos.
By helping make Vientiane more beautiful, protecting the environment and preserving the cultural identities in Lao localities, the company has contributed to the special solidarity and cooperative ties between the two countries.
In addition to more than 300 oil paintings and brass carvings by Vietnamese people, a number of paintings by Lao artists are on display at the exhibition.
