Hanoi's movie buffs will be getting their popcorn ready as the city prepares to host an international film festival from November 1 to 14.
The 14-day festival will feature 12 moves from Finland, Australia, France, Germany, Denmark, Belgium, New Zealand, Israel, the Republic of Korea, China, Japan and Vietnam.
This is the eighth annual film festival to be held in Hanoi.
The films were made between 1999 and 2002 and all have been blockbusters at home, as well as in other countries.
Screenings of the participating films will take place at the National Cinema Centre, 87 Lang Ha street and the Cinema Club, 51 Tran Hung Dao street, Hanoi in both original versions and dubbed in Vietnamese. (VNS)
