ND- Export turnover of fine arts and handicraft products in the first five months of this year was put at US$133 million, or an increase of 35.7% against that of the same period last year, according to the Ministry of Trade.
This May, fine arts and handicraft products earned US$33 million in export turnover, or increase of 73.5% against that of last May.
Goods having high increase in export value and stable price are ceramic, pottery, embroidery and wood products. The US, Japan, China, Taiwan, France and Italy are main markets for Vietnamese fine arts and handicraft exports.
The Ministry of Trade is now co-operating with fine arts and handicraft businesses to accelerate trade promotion activities, especially by joining international trade fairs and exhibitions in order to seek more partners and clients.
