The United Nations’ officials, international donors and many musicians, artists gathered at a press conference which introduced the second annual World Peace Music Awards (WPMA) scheduled for June, 26 in Hanoi.
Attending the conference held in Hanoi on Tuesday were also Vietnamese Ambassador to the UN Nguyen Thanh Chau, and younger sister of the late musician Trinh Cong Son, Trinh Vinh Trinh.
Also the same day, the organising board also held a press conference at the UN headquarters to introduce the award ceremony with the participation of many international correspondents.
The first WPMA was held in Bali, Indonesia in 2003, drawing the participation of musicians and artists from 25 countries in the world. The ceremony also attracted 1.5 billion of audiences all over the world.
