A day of Vietnam-ASEAN cultural exchange was held at the Park of Nine Dragons in Hanover, Germany, on July 12.
The event organised by the Vietnamese embassy in Germany aimed to enhance friendship and co-operation between the Vietnamese community and that of ASEAN countries in Germany.
Speaking at the event, Reiner Litten, Justice State Secretary of the State of Niedersachsen described the event as a bridge for mutual understanding between nations, which helped boost relations between Germany and ASEAN.
He added that the German government, particularly that of the Niedersachsen State, were always ready to strengthen comprehensive co-operation with Vietnam and ASEAN countries.
Taking the floor, Vietnamese Ambassador Nguyen Ba Son introduced Vietnam's wet rice culture to the visitors.
The Park of Nine Dragons is a complex of Vietnamese culture. It was built by an overseas Vietnamese, Pham Thi Nhu Anh, on a 1,000 square metre area at the Hanover fair and exhibition centre in 2001.
