Going to school by Huynh Ngoc Dan.
VietNamNet – A special photo exhibition will be held on the beach of Binh Thuan Province on January 6, 2005 to ring in the New Year for Vietnam’s photographers.

The exhibition, entitled Hue – Saigon – Hanoi: Continuous footsteps, will take place at the beach of the Doi Su Tourist Site, Ham Thuan Nam District, Binh Thuan Province.

Organisers claimed there were many options to locate exhibition, but they choose the beach in Binh Thuan in a bid to create a unique space for audiences to experience the artwork.

Around 120 photos, including new works and those that have won prizes at domestic and international contests will be displayed on easels in the poplar forest and on sandy hills, with art depicted on carton, mica, glass and other unique mediums for the first time in Vietnam.

Twenty reputed photographers like Gian Thanh Son, Hoang Quoc Tuan from HCM City, Dang Ngoc Thai from Hanoi, Duy Anh from Tien Giang have all submitted work, with half the sales contributed to charity funds.

The exhibition will last for one month.
