A photo exhibition entitled Come Back Capital, displaying works of HCM City’s Hai Au Female Photographers Club’s member, has opened in Ha Noi.

Some 70 black-and-white photographs focus on the daily life of the Vietnamese nation-wide.

Photographer Dao Hoa Nu, chairman of the Hai Au Club, said, regarding the exhibition, "Black-and-white photos require skill and much hard labour from the photographers. All the members of our club are fascinated by this format, so we wanted to show their beloved works."

"I appreciated very much all the photos in the exhibition – each print contains its creators essence," photographer Quang Phung said. "All the female photographers clearly instill great passion in their work."

The exhibition – organised by the Viet Nam Association of Photographic Artists (VAPA), HCM City’s Women Association and the Hai Au Club – was designed to support the 6th National Congress of VAPA.

Established in 1990, the Hai Au Club has attracted many skilled female photographers from HCM City, of which 10 are members of VAPA.

The exhibition runs until March 19 and will travel to Hue, Nha Trang and HCM City. — VNS
