Women display photos in HCM City (April 25, 2005)

‘Dam Duong Dat Nuoc’ (The Country’s Road) is the name of a photo exhibition of Hai Au (Sea Bird) Women Photographic Club’s members which opened on April 23 at the Ho Chi Minh City Women’s Cultural House.

Sixty five works on show are artistic photos reflecting the country’s current affairs as they are resulted from trans-Vietnam tour by motorcycle from February 22 to March 10 of six club’s members, including Dao Hoa Nu (head of the club), Nguyen Thi Sin, Hong Nga, Kim Lan, Kim Thanh and Thanh Son.

Other members of the club also join the exhibition.

Seventeen cities and provinces from the length of the countries which the tour visited, are reflected a lively and truthful manner in their photos, from mountainous areas such as Kon Tum, Sa Pa to coastal areas of Lang Co, Ha Long, Phan Thiet, Nha Trang and President Ho Chi Minh’s homeland Nghe Tinh.

The exhibition contributes to a series of activities to celebrate the South Liberation Day, April 30.
