Dual exhibition combines paint and print (September 07, 2005)

Around ten painters and photographers will partake in a special exhibition named Nude in Hanoi this November.

The exhibition is a combination of painting and photography, as old and new artists come together for the show. Among them are renowned artists Nguyen Quan, Phan Cam Thuong, Le Thiet Cuong, Do Son, Nguyen Quang Thieu, To Hieu Chien, Ly Tran Quynh Giang, Kim Hoa and two photographers Duong Minh Long and Tran Huy Hoan.

The exhibition will be held at 39 Ly Quoc Su Gallery, Hanoi, owned by painter Le Thiet Cuong and musician Vu Nhat Tan.

The newly opened gallery has published an entire schedule for the next year, with a painting exhibition by Truong Thien, a young artist from Hue; Black and White an exhibition of photos and paintings of Tet festivals and markets; Smiling a photo exhibition by Duong Minh Long, Le Anh Tuan, Tran Quoc Khanh, Tran Viet Duc and Ngoc Thai; Writing a painting exhibition by Le Thiet Cuong; a portrait exhibition; an exhibition by writer Nguyen Huy Thiep, and two top portraiture painters from the north, Bao Nguyen and Bao Sinh.
