US helps to preserve two Vietnamese lacquer pictures (September 14, 2005)


The Vietnam Fine Arts Museum has received US$20,000 from the US Embassy’s Cultural Preservation Fund to retouch and preserve two lacquer pictures, according to the Ministry of Culture and Information.

The two pictures which are kept at the museum are Hoi Chua (Pagoda Festival) by painter Le Quoc Loc and Bac Nam Mot Nha (North and South Under the Same Roof) by painter Nguyen Van Ty.
