Ha Noi (VNA) - Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung on Dec. 19 approved a project to build the National History Museum at the Huu Nghi (Friendship) Park in a new residential area near Ho Tay (West Lake) in Ha Noi.
The National History Museum, will combine the two existing museums - the Revolutionary Museum and the Viet Nam Historical Museum. It will cover the national history, the national construction and defence, and culture and creativeness of the Vietnamese people.
The 10-ha museum will have in-door and out-door areas.
The museum, scheduled to be inaugurated in 2012, will become a culture-information centre, and provide information on cultural heritage in Viet Nam.-Enditem
