Vietnam Art Books -- A new art gallery opens in HaNoi (Dec 16, 2002)

A new art gallery opens in HaNoi (Dec 16, 2002)

Snuggled up by the side of the Hanoi Cathedral, right in the center of Hanoi, is "Que Gallery", an art gallery where traditional costumes are also on display. It has been compared to a discreet peasant girl who is quite gentle, hearty, and full of vitality. The Gallery owes its name to many of its friends and artists who do wish to see it become a well known gathering place for Vietnamese minds, culture and styles. The space inside "Que Gallery" proves to be worthy of its name since this is the general display of purely Vietnamese paintings and meticulously hand-made costumes, which are simple as well as Sophisticated and deeply imbued with Vietnam's national character.

Que gallery manager, Dang Minh Ha has officially opened the gallery on December 14, 2002 with exhibition by ha Tri Hieu and Nguyen Ba Toan.
