11th century artefacts found in Hanoi (November 07, 2003)
 Artefacts dating back to the 11th century have been unearthed in an archaeological excavation site in downtown Hanoi, the largest such site in Vietnam so far.
1,200 ancient artefacts found in single province (February 22, 2004)
 The central coastal province of Phu Yen has over the past five years discovered 1,216 ancient artefacts of high archaeological value in addition to a number of ethnic and historic assets.
1,500-year old Buddha statue unearthed in Dong Thap (December 11, 2003)
 A wooden Buddha statue, believed to date back to the Phu Nam Kingdom some 1,500 years ago, has been discovered in the Plain of Reeds of southern Dong Thap province.
2,000-year-old tombs found in southern province (May 20, 2003)
 VUNG TAU — Fifty-four ancient tombs, approximately 2,000 years old, have been unearthed in Long Son Commune of southern coastal Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province.
2004 Hue Festival to be held in June (January 07, 2004)
 Ha Noi, Jan. 6 (VNA)-June 12-20, 2004 is scheduled time for '2004 Hue Festival' on the theme of "Cultural Heritage with Integration and Development."
2nd traditional music contest to open in Hanoi (December 18, 2003)
 VietNamNet – The 2nd contest for solo performances of traditional musical instruments will be organised at the Hanoi Music Institute on December 15-21 by the Performance Art Agency.
3,000 year old artifacts discovered in Ba Ria – Vung Tau (August 04, 2004)
 Various 3,000 year-old artifact were discovered in Tan Hoa commune, Tan Thanh district, southern Ba Ria – Vung Tau province in an excavation from July 11 to August 1 conducted by a group of archeologists from Vietnam History Museum.
3,500 year old antiques unearthed in Binh Duong, Viet Nam (June 17, 2003)
 Archaeologists have discovered around 700 antique objects dated between 2,700 and 3,500 years in the southern province of Binh Duong.
82 years old folk artisan still singing (December 11, 2003)
 A 82 year old woman Trinh Thi Ram in Quyen Son village, Kim Bang district, Ha Nam province together with her dam (a kind of folk music) songs, made a performing tour to 14 European countries in a dance named ‘Drought and Rain’ by Easola Thuy, a Vietnamese French dancer.
All high schools in Viet Nam to be connected to Internet (April 21, 2003)
 The Ministry of Education and Training (MoET) says the Internet will be connected at all universities, colleges and secondary schools by the end of this year.
