A return to Viet Nam's roots (February 08, 2005)
 Three northern provinces have banded together for a tourism promotion programme that is sure to make these gorgeous, yet unknown places the new hot spots for international and domestic travellers. Thanh Ha reports.
Artefacts unearthed in Thang Long citadel yield civilised past (April 10, 2004)
 Wonders about the foundation of historical periods were answered by Prof. Pham Van Huong, an overseas Vietnamese working at Bordeaux 1 University in France. Dr. Huong explained and valued more than four million artefacts excavated at the Ba Dinh Conference Hall. He described the artefacts as symbols of different dynasties, reflecting Dai Viet culture.
Art Festival to be held in Sen Village, Vietnam (May 08, 2003)
 From an initiative 21 years ago (1982) of Nghe An central province on the organisation of a public art festival named 'Singing from Sen Village' to commemorate the birthday of late President Ho Chi Minh, the State officially upgrades this year's festival into a national one. The first national festival will be held from May 17 to 19.
Artisans chisel wisdom out of Buddhist tower (October 18, 2004)
 After more than two years of painstaking work, a group of young workers finally gave a sigh of relief when they finished engraving the seven-storey tower within the Vinh Nghiem Pagoda, the largest Buddhist centre in HCM City late last year.

Artisans preserve the soul of Cham ethnic people (February 27, 2005)
 Even today, there are still many ethnic people in Cham villages who know how to use their traditional musical instruments but there are just a few of them being able to make those musical instruments. Artisans Phu Binh Don and Cuu Lac are two among those.
Artist crafts retreat out of architectural melange (July 14, 2004)
 One Ha Noi artist, Nguyen Thanh Chuong, has created a work of art on a much larger scale than his famous lacquer paintings, drawing locals 30km out of the capital's centre to Soc Son District to take a look.
Artists revive traditional southern theatre (October 02, 2003)
  Eight young performers from Ho Chi Minh City and Cite Long (Mekong) Delta provinces have won gold medals at the Tran Huu Trang Prize 2003, which seeks to revive the traditional southern Vietnamese theatre genre, cai luong (reformed opera).
Arts activities take place at Hue Festival (June 15, 2004)
 More than 300 artists from 14 water puppet troupes of Hanoi and northern Thai Binh, Ha Tay and Bac Ninh provinces performed at the 2004 Hue Festival on June 14.
ASEAN craft villages exhibition to be held in Vietnam (March 22, 2005)
 An exhibition on Vietnam and ASEAN traditional craft villages will be held late this year with the participation of around 300 booths from domestic typical traditional craft villages.
